Halloween

It's December and I'm realizing I haven't even written about Halloween yet. So, here's a little catch up.

Chris' mom and Jair came to visit us the end of October. It was fun to have them here! We got to go visit Amy and Jamir the beginning of their trip, and celebrated Jamir's birthday with him. Oliver loves Jamir, and Jamir is such a trooper to even play Uno with Olives.

We had our ward trunk or treat the Wednesday before Halloween. We went as a matador, flamenco dancer, and bull. It was fun coming up with our costumes. Oliver's bull costume is a transformed monkey costume. I added hoofs and horns to it. He was the cutest little bull running around, of course. I found a dress at a thrift store which I cut the top off to create a skirt. Chris found a (woman's) jacket which he altered a bit and some sweat pants transformed into a matador outfit. On Halloween we joined Chris in the park for a little picnic of pizza and play. That night we did a little trick or treating (about 5 houses), but mostly hung out at home. It was a lovely Halloween together.
